If you had a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher, or refused to take a breath test during an arrest for drunk driving in Anchorage Borough, your license will be automatically suspended. you can try to stop the suspension by petitioning the DMV for a special hearing, but you must
do so within 7 days of the date of your arrest.
